Disney Store Classic Elsa Doll Review

Hey everyone! Today I bring you a review of the Classic Elsa Doll from the Disney Store.
She has the same box as Anna, but with her name at the bottom and art.
Her braid is oddly crimped in the box, but it is slowly straightening out.

The back of the box is the exact same as Anna's.
Looks too easy.
The packaging looks deceptively simple, and it is. Deceptive, I mean.
It's not simple.
Mostly free!
Here she is, mostly free. Her dress is absolutely amazing! The cape is covered in blue glitter in snowflake patterns. The bodice is glittery too, and the skirt is satiny blue fabric with a slit.
That's not very queenlike.
She has the same ungraceful toddler sit as Anna.

As you can see, she does not exactly come with ice heels. Instead, she comes with plain blue flats that are roughly the same color as her dress.
I actually quite like them! XD I thought I would be disappointed with them, but they're nice quality and allow her to stand up better than thin heels would.
Another view of the cape.
Her cape is beautiful, but there is a big gap in the back for easy access to the velcro.
The bangs on top of her head are very curly and molded with tons of styling gel.
Her hair is yellow-blonde, yellower than in the movie. Her hair is also a lot longer.
She has light blush, blue eyes, heavy black eyeliner, and purple eyeshadow.
We meet again!
Here's Elsa next to Anna.
This photo makes it a bit more obvious how purple and pale Elsa is to Anna.
This might be a fluke, but Elsa's fingers appear more widely spaced than Anna's.
I love that they both have sidelong glances so they can look at each other.
They obviously have very different faces and head molds to make this possible.
Oh, and they're also the perfect size for Barbie props.
These are about the only Barbie-sized props I have.
This obviously isn't.
I thought this was a Barbie bed at first, but now I see it REALLY isn't.
With some effort, it can look cute.
The combination of breadsticks and hot cocoa is a little weird, though.

Bye for now!

Birthday Stuff!

Hey guys! As you may or may not know, I recently had my birthday.
It was tons of fun-I ate burgers at Red Robin, shopped a bit, and has some delicious Gluten Free cupcakes from a local bakery.
I also got some pretty great gifts! :D
Ta-Da!~
I got an MLP Equestria Girls 3-pack of the Cutie Mark Crusaders:
They'll be fun to review! :)
An AWESOME 'Ponies Rock' T-shirt:
In that clipart, Pinkie was originally holding cake.
Super Smash Bros. 3DS(Which I can't stop playing):
Beware the animal crossing villager; He'll K.O. you with his tiny spherical fists.
And last but not least, book 8 of the Dork Diaries series:
They just keep getting better! I already read the whole thing. :P
Later that day, when we went shopping, I got quite a surprise.
The Disney Store at the mall had just had a major restock.
I'm talking packed to the ceiling with Animator's Collection dolls.
I was thinking about getting the singing Elsa doll, but once I saw it in person I decided it wasn't what I anticipated at all.
I settled on a Classic Elsa Doll to match my Anna and I knew that when I saw it I wouldn't want to 'let it go'.
*Ahem*, please excuse my bad pun. XD
They also had about 3 of the Ice Skating sets with both Anna and Elsa in them.
The only reasons I didn't get that set is because I already have Anna and, although the Ice Skating set version is slightly different, I don't want duplicates. I also knew that their skates would make it hard to stand them up.
Here she is!
Woah, what's up with her braid???
Since I already took the photos, I'll get the review up soon. I also took photos of some loom bands I bought today which I also need to review. I don't even have photos for the Cutie Mark Crusaders yet, so their review might take a while longer, even though thy were the first to be unboxed.

Wow, I've got a lot to do!
Bye for now! :)

Mattel Anna and Elsa doll review!

Okay, Dancegirl came over today and I decided to review her Anna and Elsa dolls.
First off, remember when I said I didn't like the Mattel dolls?
My Anna: "Is that really supposed to be me?"
They don't have a ton of detail, for one thing. Another thing is that they aren't movie accurate.
No elbow/knee articulation, either. Boo!
They're still cute, though. You know, even though the back of Elsa's cape is undecorated, her sleeves and the bodice of her dress are painted on, and her face doesn't look human.
What are you staring at, Elsa?
She looks like a robot here. XD
Her eyes are just... So far apart! This doll bothers me on many, many levels.
Let it go, let it go... My arms can't bend, oh nooooo!
On to Anna.

Anna looks a lot more... well, human to me! The bodice of her dress is sewn a bit messily, but it's not that bad. Her head looks more normally shaped, too. I wonder why that is...
Even though she does look better than Elsa, she still has those strange eyes. Oh, and when did she have a pink crown in the movie?
Since the Barbie people said so, LOL.
Anna decided to take a photo with her sister even though Elsa wouldn't stare at the camera.
Point? Wait to get the Disney Store Dolls. They're not much more expensive and are higher quality.
Oh, and the color change dress thing? Fades WAY too quickly.

Anna poses with the strange other dolls. They don't like standing upright for photo shoots, apparently.

In other news, Anna can wear her skirt as a fashionable strapless dress.
Bye for now!

The Search for Frozen Dolls

I went to two Target stores the other day (In search of Mario Kart 8, more on that later) and noticed something.
That was the serious shortage of all Disney Frozen toys.
One Target only had the Anna jewelry set and a mini playset containing Elsa and her castle.
The other Target had Elsa's wand(What? She didn't have a wand in the movie...) and some Anna and Elsa toddler doll sets.
Anyway, I'm not searching for an Elsa doll from Target; I'll wait until they come back in stock at the Disney store.

After all, you could go with this:
Or you could go with that:
Yeah, I can wait. :P
I would, however, love to have one of those MagiClip mini dolls! They're so cute!

Unfortunately, my Target may never have these!
Bye for now!
