The Cute and Cool Today Shoppe; 1 3DS Game and 1 American Girl bed

Hey everybody, I recently set up a listing on eBay.
This American Girl bed has been a place of peace for many play-weary dolls and Webkinz stuffed animals for 9 whole years!
Feel free to check it out. If you want to negotiate, comment a price. Maybe we can meet in the middle. :)

If dolls aren't your thing, though, I also have the Collector's Edition of Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?! (Nintendo 3ds) for $49.99, the lowest used price.

Happy shopping from the Cute and Cool Today Shoppe!

Tamagotchi P's!

Hello everyone!
I recently ordered a Tamagotchi P's from amazon! :D
In case you don't know, the P's is a full-color Tamagotchi from Japan. It's really glitzy and kawaii.
I wanted a color screen tama, and this is how I figured it was the one for me;

  • Tamagotchi + Color : Pretty plain and minimalist, also really basic because it's the first color Tamagotchi. Also way too expensive.
  • Tamagotchi ID : Goes for a pretty fair price on eBay, but is kinda plain looking. Basic.
  • Tamagotchi ID L : Nice but kind of expensive and not as glitzy or up-to-date as the P's.
  • Tamagotchi P's : Glitzy, fun, cute, the most beloved tama next to the 4U, new and up-to-date(Basic 6 colors on left).
I got the blue one. It looks fantastically girly(from online photos, anyway) and I wonder when it will arrive!
It's supposed to arrive anytime from the 10th of December to 20th... of January! XD
You never know with free shipping from Japan, I guess.
Bye for now!

Birthday Stuff!

Hey guys! As you may or may not know, I recently had my birthday.
It was tons of fun-I ate burgers at Red Robin, shopped a bit, and has some delicious Gluten Free cupcakes from a local bakery.
I also got some pretty great gifts! :D
Ta-Da!~
I got an MLP Equestria Girls 3-pack of the Cutie Mark Crusaders:
They'll be fun to review! :)
An AWESOME 'Ponies Rock' T-shirt:
In that clipart, Pinkie was originally holding cake.
Super Smash Bros. 3DS(Which I can't stop playing):
Beware the animal crossing villager; He'll K.O. you with his tiny spherical fists.
And last but not least, book 8 of the Dork Diaries series:
They just keep getting better! I already read the whole thing. :P
Later that day, when we went shopping, I got quite a surprise.
The Disney Store at the mall had just had a major restock.
I'm talking packed to the ceiling with Animator's Collection dolls.
I was thinking about getting the singing Elsa doll, but once I saw it in person I decided it wasn't what I anticipated at all.
I settled on a Classic Elsa Doll to match my Anna and I knew that when I saw it I wouldn't want to 'let it go'.
*Ahem*, please excuse my bad pun. XD
They also had about 3 of the Ice Skating sets with both Anna and Elsa in them.
The only reasons I didn't get that set is because I already have Anna and, although the Ice Skating set version is slightly different, I don't want duplicates. I also knew that their skates would make it hard to stand them up.
Here she is!
Woah, what's up with her braid???
Since I already took the photos, I'll get the review up soon. I also took photos of some loom bands I bought today which I also need to review. I don't even have photos for the Cutie Mark Crusaders yet, so their review might take a while longer, even though thy were the first to be unboxed.

Wow, I've got a lot to do!
Bye for now! :)

Tamagotchi Friends Review + Thank You

Wow, I haven't made a blog post in a really long time.
Any way, before I write this review, I want to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to my 1000 and counting page views here and the 308 views on my Rainbow Loom Beach Day for Barbie tutorial on YouTube.
I never thought my blog could ever become as popular as it has. Every view counts, I really mean that! :D
Now for the review.

Last week a got a Tamagotchi Friends from Toys R Us. I was super excited to get it because I don't think I've gotten a new one since 2008, or whenever the v5 was released. XD
So much kawaii!
The box is extremely adorable, showing art of the characters and such.

Bandai also added a front flap, reminding us all of the first Tamagotchi release.
There are some highly enhanced screenshots in there, making the screen seem white when it really isn't...
It doesn't even come with a battery, which is why I'm glad that I had some. Instead of the pricey button-cell batteries of the original, it takes 2 AAAs. I found it a little hard to force the batteries into it, but all is well now.
No keyring?
GOOD.
I'm glad that Tamagotchis no longer have keyrings. Sure, that might have been convenient for carrying your precious pet with you wherever you go, but I was always worried about the keyring scratching the screen.

The new TFs are also 2x thicker than the Connections.
Also about 1.5x bigger in circumference. The screw for the battery compartment may not be clearly seen, but on the bottom right-hand side of my TF, you can kind of see that there is a small bump right around where the screw goes.
...
...
Oh, sorry. I had to feed my Tamagotchi.
Where was I?
Oh, yeah.

The Tamagotchi Friends seems much brighter due to the fact that it has a grayscale instead of a permanent background like the older Tamagotchis.
The TF uses NFC connection instead of Infrared.
The Tamagotchi itself is super fun. It has 5 games, two of which you can unlock by doing certain things. There's also a big evolution map. I'm already on generation 2 now with Nokobotchi. I'm sad because that's not a perfect care Tamagotchi! :(
In the first generation I had Knightchi, a perfect care adult. Oh well, I guess your tama can't always be perfect.
There are 6 cool colors to choose from in the USA, and there were 6 different ones in Japan and Europe. While I am happy with the cute star pattern one, there were 3 different animal print ones released in Japan and Europe. Really?!?!

Pink + Hearts + Leopard = Awesomeness.
This is one of the "International only" Tamagotchis with animal print. There's also a colorful leopard and dalmatian.

I highly recommend this device! Get your 90s on and go buy the newest iteration of Tamagotchi! :D
In other news, I made Anna this somewhat strange outfit out of duct tape and hair accessories.
Bye for now!

The Cute and Cool Today GameStation is where you can play all kinds of video games made by me on Scratch! There are a lot of free video game websites these days, but how many of them can you trust?
In a digital age filled with hackers and viruses, I wanted to make a cute, cool page with video games of my own invention! :D

Enjoy the GameStation and check out my polls on the non-mobile site(There's one to the left and another one farther down the page)!

Ner Aliens: The Game!

I made a virtual pet game! It's playable on any browser that supports flash. It's a Tamagotchi-like game that I finished making yesterday! I think you can play it on a Nook, but I'm not sure... And maybe the Google Chrome app? I don't know! Enjoy! :P

BEST Flappy Bird Clones!

Hello everyone! Today I will tell you the top 4 Flappy Bird Clones.
In case you didn't know, Flappy Bird was a popular game involving a bird dodging pipes. It reminds me a bit of Nintendo's classic, Mario, in terms of the graphics.
Unfortunately, the app was pulled from the app store, probably because people were insanely addicted.
Now, a ton of apps come to the app store each day that all use the same idea of Flappy Bird, just with slight changes, such as the look. For example, there's a Flappy Worm, Flappy Penguin, Flappy Dog, etc. They're known as clones.
Now, let me show you the best ones!

#4 : Splashy Fish

Splashy Fish is a great one; the one big problem is that the pipes are too close together, and that makes it pretty hard. The extreme mode is next to impossible, and I have no idea how I got 3 on it.
All in all, though, it's a great app and by the masterminds who made Cookie Clickers.

#3 : Flappy Wings

Okay, this one is really fun. You can collect coins to get hats and the bird poops. :P
compared to the others that I'll show, the physics are a little weird. This game has a very different feeling than all the other clones. The drag is that the really cool hats cost a lot of coins, and some people don't like that pooping bird. :(

#2 : Upside Down Bird

Upside Down Bird messes with your head.
That makes it all the more addicting, though. It's basically Flappy Bird, but, well... Upside down! In the picture the bird just about to take a pipe to the face! D:
The center of gravity is up instead of down and it's very confusing. Once you get used to it, though, it's a pinch. My best is 30. Unlike the others, I would strongly recommend this app! I play it a lot more than the others.

#1 : Loopy Bird

Hands down, Loopy bird is the best. This app is a must-have! It's as close as an app can get to the original itself without being illegal! :) Actually, it's better! As you progress through the game and earn points, you unlock new birds.
I've unlocked the following:
Basic Bird: Basic Bird comes in three different colors: Yellow, blue, and red. It comes with the game.

Slow Bird: Slow Bird is a strange looking bird that you unlock at 20 points. It slows the game down to make it easier.

Loopy Bird: This bird is what the game's all about! It's the multicolored bird in the photo. It allows you to play in reverse, going from right to left rather than the traditional left to right found in Flappy Bird and its clones.

Crazy Bird: Crazy Bird has a swirly crazy look in its eyes. It's still cute, though. It doubles your points so you can climb to the tops of the leaderboards!

My best is 82! Let me know if you can beat it!

All in all, get Loopy Bird! It's a great app and you won't regret it!

All of these apps are free for download on the iOS app store. Thanks for taking your time to read this huge post! Bye for now! (^ω^)V

Flashback: Nintendo Game Boy

Hello everyone! Today I'm making a retro gaming blogpost.
In case you didn't know, I LOVE old video games!!! I have Nintendo Entertainment System(NES) games as well as SEGA Genesis, N64, and more... But that's for another time.

Q: What did they have before Nintendo DS? I mean way before DS; the late 80s?
A: The Nintendo Game Boy, Nintendo's first handheld system!(Other than Game&Watch, a series of simple handheld video games systems that played one game each and had a built in clock)

This is it! They call it the brick of Nintendos! It has an On/Off switch, a volume slider, a contrast slider(Instead of brightness), a connector port(To play with your friends!), a charger input, a headphone input(Why? The sound was so basic it seems pointless (^o^) ), the classic control pad +, A and B buttons, Select and Start buttons, and a speaker. It also has a slot on the back for game cartridges, and a battery door.
Here is a size comparison with a 3DSXL(Pikachu Edition (^_-)-☆). They're the same weight and, when the DS is closed, they're the same size. Check out that teeny tiny Game Boy screen!
You might've noticed that the Game Boy is playing Super Mario Land and the DS is playing Super Mario 3D Land. I just had to do it! :)
Here's a cartridge comparison. WOAH! That Game Boy cartridge is 4 times the size of the DS game! The game is super basic, too.
Don't get me wrong. That does NOT make the game easy.
Here are the graphics of the game. Look back at the DS. Wow. This Game Boy, without the games, originally cost $89. The games were usually about $30 each.

This post was a LOT longer than I wanted it to be, so I'll stop there.
Questions about the Game Boy? Ask in the comments. Thank you! (^o^)丿
